Getting started

Hello,

My name is John and I am the Owner of Gallman Windows and Doors located in Greenville SC. My company is getting ready to have a Grand Opening of our new showroom in ten days and with that event comes the addition of our blog.

I am getting started in more ways than just one. A new blog to share thoughts and ideas on new construction, renovation, tips and hints on energy savings, etc... A new website to deliver information about our company and products we carry. And a new Showroom to display our product for a hands-on atmosphere with in-wall demonstrations of remodeling options for windows and doors as well as new construction product. The purpose of this blog is to help educate potential buyers, as well as existing homeowners, with timely tips and hints on ways to conserve energy, reduce your carbon foot print, make wise purchases of building products, and tips on selecting qualified builders and/or architects.

Beginning this week, we will have guest "bloggers" who are local builders, architects, and others associated with the industry. We hope to have several blog posts a week from different contributors The content will vary and we hope will help in answering questions regarding the building industry as a whole.
